"I posted this thread in chemical plant design & operation forum, but I think this is the right forum for it"

Dear all,
What should be the distance between the corrosion inhibitor injection point and corrosion coupon/probe? is there a guideline or standard on this subject.
Best regards

RE: corrosion monitoring

Normally monitoring fittings shall be located downstream of CI point at 5 to 10 Dia distance.

Thanks BhanuMurty,
Is there a reference to this or it's a rule of thumb?
Regards

RE: corrosion monitoring

Project monitoring philosophies will guide you. You can refer your philosophies if you have. In our present project, we considered this as 10 Dia distance.
