Glycol Loss

Glycol Loss

(OP)
Hi,
While commissioning the glycol regeneration system, we are facing an issue (operational) of glycol carry over to flare KOD from the flash vessel. This vessel is equipped with a blanketing line and excess pressure venting line. Is the carry over happens because of the syphoning effect when the PCV opens to control the pressure? what are the other possible causes that leads to carryover, any design issues?

Seek your advice on way forward..

RE: Glycol Loss

A P&ID of your system would really help us in troubleshooting the problem.
