Hello,
I have an a assembly of a clamp that I caught from DE-STA-CO (http://www.destaco.com/controlled-latch-clamps.htm...). The parts should to move and I would like to know how do this?
P.s.: I don`t like to use "motion" for this.

The Assembly Sequence environment is where NX builds assembly paths, but it uses the motion types you are trying to avoid.

Well, I'm not sure that that's a completely accurate statement.

Assembly Sequencing uses the constraints assigned to the various Components of an Assembly to define the degrees of freedom for the movement of the various collection of related parts. You imput a 'motion' by simply selecting one of the under-constrained components and indicating how far you want it to move (translate or rotate) and the rest of the pieces (Components) come along for the ride based on those Assembly Constraints.

Attached is a sample video of a universal joint assembly that was animated using this technique.

Hi all,

Good news... I`m almost there!!!

The problem was a little constraint "align" in between a point on tool component and a join curve on the target component to describe the path. But, I don`t know what I do to creat a stop colision. I will keep trying smile!!!
