Unit Start up Test Run

Unit Start up Test Run

Unit Start up Test Run

(OP)
Hello, I would like to get feedback on the best way to approach a new unit start up with regard to a test run for Operations sign off. Would I simply be looking for design target rates at product specification? Anything else that should be examined, such as under sized control valves? I would also check the temp and pressure profile is as designed. I would also be interested in performing a rate run to see where the unit bottleneck is.

Can anyone share any experiences and lessons learned from this type of activity?

Thanks.

RE: Unit Start up Test Run

What does your boss want?

What does your project manager want/need?

What do your test engineers need?

What is in the contract for your company to provide so the contract gets signed off by the customer?

What is the customer/your boss/your company paying you to do?
