Rotational Pneumatic Clamp Design

Rotational Pneumatic Clamp Design

Rotational Pneumatic Clamp Design

(OP)
Hello All,

I am trying to design a pneumatic clamp system to fix fabrics to a plate for heat pressing operations. I am familiar with traditional pneumatic clamp systems that employ a piston to clamp vertically. Although this solution is practical and effective, I have found a more elegant solution that I would like to incorporate in my design:

Can anyone tell me how this system works and provide me with a link to where I can learn more about pneumatic clamp systems that are implemented with rotational motion involved? Thank-you very much in advance. Any help would be
greatly appreciated.

Nevermind. I found out about pneumatic rotary rack and pinion and rotary vane actuators.
