Ansys workbench 14.0 error "ansysWBU.exe has encountered a problem ....."

(OP)

Hi, everyone! I am new here, nice to meet you!!!

Now I am trying to do a random vibration analysis of a pipe. In the simulation, a spring connection is attached to connect the body with the ground. When I come to random vibration part, I need to add an acceleration PSD to the ground side of a spring. To do that, I clicked this spring connection as the Boundary condition to add the PSD, it suddenly gives me an error "ansysWBU.exe has encountered a problem ....." and Mechanical shut down itself.

I tried many advice online but still can't fix it. Any new suggestions? Thanks!

By the way, I am using ANSYS 14.0 with WIN 8.

Thanks!!

RE: Ansys workbench 14.0 error "ansysWBU.exe has encountered a problem ....."

Try without windows 8! dazed

Suggestion: they recommend me Heron Rotordynamics software (at www.heronrd.com Link or info[at]heronrd.com). It's online and you don't need solving troubles with your operating system because you can use it with a web browser only.

Regards.
