Preferred system earthing for the motors fed from medium voltage bus

(OP)
We are planning to convert the 3.3kV system from solidly earthed neutral to low resistance earthed system. This 3.3kV bus is mainly feeding the 3.3kV motors and few 3.3kV/433V transformers. As I understand, this would reduce the earth fault current in the faulty motor windings thus reducing the extent of damage to the motor. Anybody has a good technical article or publication to throw some more light on this. I would appreciate if you could share it.
