Steel Structure on Bearing Pad
Steel Structure on Bearing Pad
(OP)
Hi all,
I have a structure and I want a couple of the supports have bearing pad (rubber), to give some movement and reduce the longitudinal load. The vertical load is low (least the 10 tonf).
What material can I use? neoprene will work?
There is any catalog for select the thickness of the pad?
There ir any way or table to estimate the horizontal and vertical stiffness of the support?
First time I do this....
Thanks in advance,
Best regards...

The greatest trick that bond stress ever pulled was convincing the world it didn't exist.
