making camera views in animations (solid edge ST6)

making camera views in animations (solid edge ST6)

(OP)
At the moment I am making some animations to let our clients see how some of our products are constructed.
I know that you can make a circular camera view. The other way is to make the camera path by using existing views.
Is there any other way how to do this more easy? In other programs you can put a camera down so you directly know in what direction it is filming. I don't find it easy to make a simple film.
An other question a have is if there is a way to put different camera views on the timeline. I can only put one on it...

Kind regards,

Johan Langens

RE: making camera views in animations (solid edge ST6)

I have not used this a lot, and when I did, it seemed that it was difficult to get what I wanted. Hope you get a useful answer to this as I would be interested in hearing it too. You may also try asking this on the Solid Edge Community site...

Hey PellaKen,

we are getting better and better with what we wanted to achieve. As soon as we have our first animation and we know how we need to animate in a propper way, I will keep you posted ;)

Greets,
Joowan
