Setting the PDF file export name - Possible?

Setting the PDF file export name - Possible?

Setting the PDF file export name - Possible?

(OP)
Hello

I have a question regarding the export of the PDF in NX (8.5)

Is it possible to set the filename of the PDF to be something else i.e:

BASE012345_A_PDF --> BASE012345_A_RELEASED

At present the default is _PDF.

Additionally, would it be possible to get NX to automatically append the 2D file sheet name in place of the _PDF everytime you do an export...?

Thanks for having a look - all responses greatfully received.

Rob.

RE: Setting the PDF file export name - Possible?

As far as I'm aware, the naming for PDFs is in the plot settings in Customer Defaults (see attached image).
However, I'm not sure that applies when NX is used with TC.

Are you exporting the pdf into a dataset in TC or to the file system (outside of TC)?

Hello Cowski - It will reside within TC item once exported.
