I'm hoping I could get some career advice. I have a mechanical engineering degree from oklahoma state university and I am currently working for a oil field service company as a MWD Field engineer. I have 2 and a half years of active military experience and 6 years with the national guard also. I want to become a drilling engineer and I'm hoping that someone can shed some light on if I'm in the right path to becoming a drilling engineer? Comments and advice is greatly appreciated.
