composite progressive failure

composite progressive failure

composite progressive failure

(OP)
I'm trying to simulate the progressive failure of a composite tube under tensile test with ortotropic properties, using implicit nonlinear solution (sol 400). I have entered linear elastic properties and failure1 (sol 400/600) with maximum stress failure criterion and progressive failure option but I don't have any result. When i cheked the f06.file I have found this message : USER FATAL MESSAGE 2016 (IFP6)
NO MATERIAL PROPERTIES EXIST.
0FATAL ERROR
where could be the problem?

RE: composite progressive failure

You forgot to assign the material to the elements?

RE: composite progressive failure

(OP)
I have assigned the material to the elements. When i used linear static solution i don't have any error but when with implicit nonlinear patran/msc nastran 2012 I have found this message : USER FATAL MESSAGE 2016 (IFP6)
NO MATERIAL PROPERTIES EXIST.
