Can someone tell me what happened here, I did a assemblies/component/create new component. and half of my detail disappeared. checked the reference set....goneeeeeeeeeeeeeeee.

Without some more details, it's gong to be hard to diagnose what might have happened. Did you check the 'Layer' setting? You say the Reference Set is gone. What exactly do you mean by that? Can you provide at least before and after images of what your model looks like? Or perhaps the files themselves?
