stratification question

Hi,

Does anyone know if comfort is a requirement in the latrines and shower areas? Can you allow some stratification?

RE: stratification question

I like it comfy in the "reading room" myself.

Can you tell us what sort of facility you are working with?

Best to you,

Goober Dave

It's a office building

RE: stratification question

I usually dont heat bathrooms unless they have an exterior perimeter.
I usually only exhaust bathrooms, with transfer air from the corridor, but since I went in an air cionditioned bathroom, and it felt real nice, I have started to condition them as well.

Never really was concerned with stratification.

RE: stratification question

If you don't mind the smell of turds, then stratification should be fine.

RE: stratification question

The exhaust air volume needed to control odor in bathrooms is enough to prevent stratification.

The exhaust air volume needed to control odor in showers is enough to prevent stratification.

RE: stratification question

If the rooms are not heated then stratification wont happen, if you are heating the room then normal engineering principals apply, whats the point of heating the ceiling eh?
