craziness!!!

craziness!!!

craziness!!!

(OP)
Hello everyone,

i have weird question, my boss only has Voloview on his computer, and an architect sent him a drawing for him to look at, everything showed up on his screen.  But when he emailed it to me and i opened it up in acad 2000.  when i opened it up eveything is there except for the contours.  Now, when i go to layer manger everything is unlocked, thawed and on.  The 2 layers that the contours were on, are there and on.  There is even a TIN, that the contours were generated from, but no contours.
any help will be much appreciated!!

Thanks Juice

RE: craziness!!!

Did you go into an ISO view to see if the contours are there? If so, then it might a the current UCS.

Another option would be to "flatten" evertything.
And then "purge".

Hope that helps or leads you into the right direction.

R.

RE: craziness!!!

Maybe the contours were created by LDD, so would show up in your drawing as "proxy" objects and not as polylines. If you don't have the correct proxy enabler, then nothing will show up. Do you get a notice upon opening the drawing about proxy objects? (might not depending on setting of PROXYNOTICE).
