bio sensors for audio? help(!!!)

bio sensors for audio? help(!!!)

bio sensors for audio? help(!!!)

(OP)
Hi there,

I'm just starting out :) on a project to help control/generate audio.  I've got the whole audio part sorted (software designed etc)..  plan on connecting via the iCubeX system by InfusionSystems.Com

I need some advise on the whole sensor issue...  what sensors are best for measuring various elements from the face?  I know this is a blind question!  Can you suggest ways in which I can actively measure motion/elements from the face of a human?  I've got numerous audio elements that I'd like to control, such examples;

- are there any sensors that can measure the degree of open/closed that an eye is...  muscle on the side of the eye?
- any sensors that measure the rev's per min of a fan like device that measures the speed at which air passes through a mouth piece?
- what's best for measuring movements of muscles on the face?
- how to go about measuring pulse rate and perspiration?
- orientation of the head - level etc etc?
- anything else that'd be useful/interesting?

I can use any interesting signal to control/generate audio - perhaps working in elements that I haven't thought about so far!

Please, any random thoughts, send my way!  thanks!
