Tests of welds Tube-fin, to qualify Procedure ASME IX and EN

Tests of welds Tube-fin, to qualify Procedure ASME IX and EN

(OP)
Hello
Please. I have to qualify a Welding Procedure according with ASME code and EN 15613.
The mockup is tube ø57x4.5 mm P235GH welded to 2 fins thickness 6 mm S235JR.
The process used is FCAW Mechanized.
Are these the macro test according with standards ? (apart other tests)

EN 15613:
• 2 Macros tests. The standard doesn´t define the number of macro tests exactly. I am thinking to make 2 macro test similar to EN 15614

ASME IX:
• 4 macros. Is the case 181.1.1 welds of plate-shapes?. Is the fin a shape?

Can be used the macros in according with ASME to qualify macros in according with EN?

Thank you in advance.
Fernando

RE: Tests of welds Tube-fin, to qualify Procedure ASME IX and EN

Yes. 2 macros for EN (EN 15613 refers to EN 15614)

As for using macros ASME to qualify EN?
I think it's not possible. EN different with ASME in term of: sample position (EN 15614), procedure (EN 1321), and acceptance criteria (EN 5817).
