I'm in Nx9.02 and found inthe member select window the displaytype material item... and no information in the docs + google.
How can I add materials (items) into the reuselibrary to get work?
thank-you-in-advance

sorry new in NX

Erwin

RE: material item in Reuselibray

Starting with NX 9.0 you can now include a Material assignment as one of the criteria when defining a Family Table part file. You can find documentation on this topic at...

Home -> CAD -> Modeling -> Part Families -> Assinging materials to part family members

thank you John on reply,
I thought I could add the physical material libray and add material from the reuselib by drag on a body.
... not to forget to start an ER on this. I don't like the current material management .

RE: material item in Reuselibray

How would that be any different than creating a custom material library that you could assign materials from?
