Prestress analysis of Steel bellow

Prestress analysis of Steel bellow

Prestress analysis of Steel bellow

(OP)
I have to perform a pre-stressed analysis of steel bellow by displacement load (ie) bellow extended by 8mm from original designed position inorder to fix at site. From pre-stressed position the bellow is subjected to different compression loads under operating condition.I am using FEMAP 10.3.3 with Nx Nastran 7 as tool

My required loading condition are as follows:

Case 1: Bellow extended by 8 mm(Displacement load) from original position and corresponding stress results (My constrain in 1st side is Tx,Ty,Tz arrrested and other side Ty alone arrested)

Case 2: From displaced position 6.4mm bellow contract under operating condition (i.e) 8 mm - 6.4 mm = 1.6 mm from original position(My constrain in 1st side is Tx,Ty,Tz arrrested and other side also Tx,Ty,Tz all arrested)

Case 3: Bellow simply extended by 1.6 mm alone and corresponding((My constrain in 1st side is Tx,Ty,Tz arrrested and other side Ty alone arrested)

please explain whether Case 2 and Case 3 same, then why My stress results differ ???.. or else how it should differ???.

Also find my attached Loading and constrain for case 2 alone using femap tool.
