pre cast concrete valve box

(OP)
Hello,
I want to write a proposal about potable water pre cast concrete valve box, to show how advantageous over cast in-situ/ in-place/ valve box/ chamber/, and present it to my office as they are preferring cast in-situ valve box most of the time.
1-Do any one have that proposal or any that can help?
2-What is the best pre cast valve box or design?
2-How to protect ground water leakage to that valve box?

RE: pre cast concrete valve box

How do you know that a precast vault is better than cast-in-place? Do you have a local supplier that can provide precast? What are the costs to get a precast vault installed? Is there equipment available to set a precast vault?

Those are some of the questions you have to answer in order to develop your proposal.

The relative merits of precast over cast-in-place are very dependent on your location.

RE: pre cast concrete valve box

the advantage is in schedule and quality control but precast might actually cost more. water may get in where the pipes go through the structure wall and a neoprene boot or linkseal can be used to keep most of it out.
