Wonder what's down in the dungeon...

RE: Power Substation photos

Your post have several unfamiliar term sucha as TP, TI and Trampa de Onda. I presume TP=PT, TI=CT and “Trampa de Onda= Wave Trap used in Power Line Carrier (PLC) communication system.

The following sites could help to describe the mounting and other technical characteristics.

http://www.trenchgroup.com/_FramesPages/PLC_Line_Traps_Overview.htm
http://www.power-technology.com/contractors/tandd/trench/index.html

http://www.tde.alstom.com/servlet/ContentServer?pagename=TDE/AGF_Product/Product_Detail&c=AGF_Product&cid=1034425459012&rid=1018348589697&lid=en&tab=Technical%20Description&id=1034425459134&famid=1037088199724&typid=1036766170351&productline=1026742850128

Please notice that there are several mounting possibilities for wave trap including suspended from the dead end structure very popular in high-risk seismic zone in South America and other regions in the world.

Here are some pictures typical for the ANSI market place for Air Insulated Substations (AIS) http://hometown.aol.com/sprodu3673
http://www.geindustrial.com/products/brochures/GEA-12010A-2.pdf

Please notice if you are in the IEC market place the style of the substation and many of the equipment use could be different than those prsented here.

Hasta la vista Amigo
