Shaded View too dark in Drawing (SW 2010)

This doesn't seem to be possible (at least not in release 2010)-though it should be:
Being able to adjust "lights" in a drawing-individually from the actual model. I know this sounds counter-intuitive, but sometimes the shaded view in the drawing is darker than the shaded view in the model. There seems to be no easier way than making the shaded view in the model too bright, so that it's bright enough in the drawing.

I don't remember if this was a problem in 2010, but I don't have that issue in 2014.

That's what I'm leaning towards. Meaning the fix (if one exists) isn't worth the trouble.
Maybe I'll mess with the Display States - I've found they can be a little screwy sometimes, too.
