Maximum number of *RIGID BODY definitions in Abaqus 6.13
Maximum number of *RIGID BODY definitions in Abaqus 6.13
(OP)
Hello,
I encountered a problem in Abaqus 6.13: it seems there is a maximum number of *RIGID BODY definitions in a single job. I counted them and it seems they are about 50. The executable package.exe aborts with system error code 1073741819.
I did not encounter this problem with Abaqus 6.11.
Has anybody ever seen the same problem?
Do you know if there is a more meaningful reason?
Is there any solution?
How could I bypass the problem?
Thanks for your help.
Alessandro

RE: Maximum number of *RIGID BODY definitions in Abaqus 6.13
I do not think there is a limitation for max number of rigid bodies.
I ran job with 6.13-5 with more than one hundred rigid bodies couple days ago and there was no problem.
The reason of the error must be different in your case.
