Ortho View Problems

Ortho View Problems

Ortho View Problems

(OP)
Hello All
I am having a proble with UG 9. I added a new detail and now it is in every ortho view on all sheets in drafting. I have been removing them by changing the boundry, but some of the view just cannot be changed that way. I have moved the detil to a different layer and turned the layer off and it still is there. Any ideas on how to remove this problem? Also, it will not highlight in any of the views.
Thanks
Jim

RE: Ortho View Problems

So are you saying that a part was added to an assembly, and now it shows up in all the views ?

RE: Ortho View Problems

Drafting views remember what layers were active when they were created, individually.

So you need to use the "format > layers visible in view" command to sort out what layers are on or off for each view.

The "reset to global" button will change layers for a selected view to your current part file layer settings.

Thank you Carl.
That was the problem.
