3D weld symbol editing

3D weld symbol editing

3D weld symbol editing

(OP)
Still too new to Creo 2.
These questions all have to do with the weld symbols that re created automatically in Pro Weld.

1. Where do I change the decimal place call out? I want the weld size of 4.00 that's generated to be only a 1 place dimension and show as 4 as well as the weld length rounded off to 1 place.

2. I'm not given the option of changing the leader attachment form the left, where it defaults to, to change to the right. How do I add options to the grouping tab?

Thanks in advance.

RE: 3D weld symbol editing

If clicking on the dimension value does not bring up a properties box to change decimal places, try swiching to symbol mode, then edit the symbol for the dimemsion and add a [0] after the symbol: &d13[0]. The value in the brackets should set the decimal places. [0]=zero, [.2]=2 places.

I am just to new to ProE I guess. Just to be clear I'm dealing with 3D weld symbols. When I go into properties nothing comes up to allow for decimal changes and I don't know how to "switching to symbol mode"
