How to Create dimensions at some orientation in drafting

How to Create dimensions at some orientation in drafting

RE: How to Create dimensions at some orientation in drafting

Won't that make it the default for all dimensions after doing so? If it's a single dimension, I would create a vertical dimension, then before placing the dimension, right click (mouse button 3 or MB3) and select Style and then change the F value as suggested above.

Looks like a GM Powertrain drawing and you wouldn't want that as your default dimension setting if that is the case.

mmauldin,

Thanks, it is working for horizontal and vertical dimensions, But not for diameter dimensions. For the one I am looking orient. Is there a way to orient that also?

Thanks,
Srikanth

I'm betting those dimensions you are seeing are not Diametric, but Vertical or Parallel dimensions with prepended Ø symbols.
