Heat transfer co-efficient for piston

Heat transfer co-efficient for piston

Heat transfer co-efficient for piston

(OP)
Hai,

In the process developing new compressor, we changed the pistom material from cast-iron to aluminum.

In order to calculate the design parameters of the piston and accordingly choose the piston ring, I thought of doing some analytical or finite element study.
I know the procedure for calculating the compression heat.

But from the temperature of the fluid under compression, I want to calculate the temperature of piston solid surface. Is any text book or web-site is there for  empirical relations for calculating the heat transfer co-efficient.
If so,please forward the same. Between the cylindrical surface of the piston and piston ring and cylinder bore the lubrication is provided. Is there any empirical heat transfer co-efficient correlation for these lubricated surfaces also?

With regards,
elogesh
