A quick one, does anyone know of any cast equivalents to EN10025 S235?

Thanks kindly

RE: 1.0038

andysf,

S235 is a structural steel and it will be difficult to reproduce this grade in a regular foundry. The Si content specified is 0.05% max, and it will be difficult controlling the melt.

What part are you attempting to convert using this grade. Perhaps, that may fetch more meaningful responses.

Arunmrao, thanks for your reply.
The only information i have to hand is that it is a 'runner wheel', I would suspect we are looking for reasonable abrasion resistance.
I will try to find more information presently.
