Solidworks C'bore Sizes - Not Actual

Solidworks C'bore Sizes - Not Actual

(OP)
We use Solidworks 2012, and the C'bore and clearance holes that come-up through the hole program just don't match what the standard cutters in the shop are. The sizes are wrong.
Has anyone run into this, and if so, what's the fix.
Thanks.

RE: Solidworks C'bore Sizes - Not Actual

Fantastic article - Thanks for this. I'd wish for an addition to the selection drop downs that would allow me to add 4 place decimal values for letter and fractional drill sizes for quick reference. Seems I'm always looking up a chart for the decimal value of the oddball though nominal hole sizes. You know ? what is the diameter of a letter V drill..... got to look it up.
