Decimal places imperial and metric

Decimal places imperial and metric

Decimal places imperial and metric

(OP)
Hi guys,

just a quick question

Is there away to set two different default decimal places in ProE WF5? One for metric (1dp) and one for imperial (3dp).

From looking around I cant do this in the drawing options and it will need to be in the config file? I don't want to change the overall default I want to have it attached to a template or similar.

Cheers
Alex

RE: Decimal places imperial and metric

In the drawing .dtl file there is a setting dual_dim_diff (or some such, I don't have Pro/E in front on me). The allowable values are positive or negative integers (or zero). That will increase or decrease the number of decimal places in the secondary units.
