Does anyone know of any good refernce manuals for concrete paving? Currently working on an airport and no one besides inpsectors on the job have paved using concrete.

Military technical reports like the one referenced by wiktor are quite abundant. The Army, Navy, Air Force all have many technical reports and design guides for pavements on airfields. Start with a geotechnical report and make sure they give recommendations for pavement thickness and subgrade preparation. You'll need this data to run the calcs to confirm their recommendations. A good starting point for airport design is the FAA Advisory Circular AC 150/5320-6D, AIRPORT PAVEMENT DESIGN AND EVALUATION. It's available online through the FAA website. They also have a computer program R805FAA, COMPUTER AIDED DESIGN FOR RIGID AIRPORT PAVEMENTS, but you should be cautious because if you specify pavement for certain specific airplanes the program gives overly conservative designs.
