Energy meters (kWh). Are they all OK?

Energy meters (kWh). Are they all OK?

(OP)
I have had some experience with kWh meters that show twice or thrice the correct kWh when load is phase controlled (dimmed) resistive load or PSUs without PFC.

In my experience, there is one make that behaves erratically. But I haven't seen all makes.

So, my question is: Have you seen or heard or read about similar problems with other makes? (The make I have problems with starts with an "A" and ends with an "s").

Half full - Half empty? I don't mind. It's what in it that counts.
