UK Reinforcement scheduling standard Table (Min, scheduling radius) terminology.

(OP)
Hi,

In the standard method of scheduling and detailing reinforcement. (The British standard) Table showing Minimum scheduling radius, former diameter and bend allowances.
There are two columns for (minimum end projection, P)
The the first column states, (General (min 5d straight) including links where bend >/ 150 degs.
The second column states - (Links where bend < 150 degs (min. 10d straight)
I have often wondered what this means when it states the bends below and greater than 150 degs.

I have always used the first column to size my bars and i cannot really answer why. So I would like to ask for types of situations when you might use the second column.
I'm unsure of the terminology of this part of the table.
If you can shed any light then I would be extremely grateful.

Thanks.

Not familiar with your table, but 90 < 150, and 135 < 150.
