Balloon quantities

Balloon quantities

Balloon quantities

An odd one here - I'm making a assembly drawing with multiple sheets. On sheet 1 I've added balloons and attached quantities to them. On sheet 2 and 3 when I add quantities to the balloons I get a dash (-) instead of the quantity. Why???

Thanks - Dave

RE: Balloon quantities

I'm not sure what you mean when you "add" or "attach quantities" to your balloons.
Typically my multi-sheet assembly drawings have an isometric view and a BOM on Sheet1. Then on the rest of the sheets, I make sure my drawing sheet balloons are linked to the BOM. Search for "Drawing View Properties" in the HELP menu.

Sorry Guys - I just got back to this thing. I tried everything that was suggested to no avail. I thought that it might have something to do with the Top Level BOM and something getting lost on sheet 2 - so I changed to a Parts Only BOM and the quantities appeared! Funny thing, when I changed back to the Top Level BOM, the quantities stayed on sheet 2. Go figure...
