Adding a spreadsheet chart to drawings.

Adding a spreadsheet chart to drawings.

Adding a spreadsheet chart to drawings.

(OP)
I use NX8 and need to include on a drawing a graph driven by spread sheet data.
Or, can a picture of a chart be added in its place.
Either needs to be printable and plot-able.
Is this possible?

RE: Adding a spreadsheet chart to drawings.

Yes you can insert an image of the chart. Insert --> image You will probably have to do a screen shot of the graph. I am sure there are many differnt ways of getting the image of the graph. I wish they had a function where we could show an image and link to an external spreed sheet graph. We use graphs on some of our drawings. The only issue we have is when we export a DXF and or DWG the graphs do not get exported to the DWG/DXF file.

Thanks very much.
I have done just that. (I used a .png file).
By-the-way.....
I found that if you export a CGM file you can get some lines and arcs to come thru from the imported pictures.

Too bad there is no graphing functionality within the expression editor.
It would be very useful for specification drawings.
