Ansys SECID problem

Ansys SECID problem

Ansys SECID problem

(OP)
Hello everyone!

I have a little (big) problem in Mechanical APDL 14.5.

I have defined some nodes, then beams and shells. Beam and shells have different sections, therefore different section id.

But i've observed that even though all shells have different secid defined, in ansys it appears only one secid for all shells, and that is the las secid from beams.

Does anyone know how to solve this?

RE: Ansys SECID problem

You might want to move this question to the
"Finite Element Analysis engineering Forum"
under Structural Engineering.
