Part Family Table in Drawing file in Master Model Approach

Part Family Table in Drawing file in Master Model Approach

Part Family Table in Drawing file in Master Model Approach

(OP)
Hello,

I'm working on NX8.5

I wanted to import my Part Family table from model to drafting. I could able to import part family table in the drafting sheet where the drafting sheet is created in the part file itself.
But it is not working in the Master model approach.

I checked---File---Utilities---Migrate Spreadsheet Data for both Model file and Drafting File.
For Model File "Part Family" is set to excel and is active to change it to xess if required.
But in drafting file "Part Family" is set to xess and it is inactive which means I cannot change it to excel if required.

Should I make it active and change to excel to import my part family table to drafting file. If so how can I do it?
or is there any other way?

Thanks in advance.

RE: Part Family Table in Drawing file in Master Model Approach

If you could get it to work with the master model approach, I don't think it would update effectively. IMHO Siemens still needs to some work with incorperating stability in their master model approach.
