We have a strange issue with stepping out files out of R22. It is extremely slow compared to R20. Anyone else having these issues. On one of our seats, we have the exact opposite issue

RE: R20 vs R22 step translator

I have had all sorts of issues with R22SP6 step - in/out. Fortunately we are migrating to R23SP4. Most of the failing files translated in this version with the exception of 1. That assembly file came in perfect to R24SP2.

I do not understand the different output speeds but the import could be slower if the optimization settings are different between seats.

which settings exactly would I look at or change which may improve this

RE: R20 vs R22 step translator

Tools Options- General - Compatibility - Step - Import

Typically it is set to Automatic optimization until I start having translation issues. Then I bump over to Advanced and increase the tolerance with little improvement.
