LTB in wire-beam elements and shell elements

(OP)
Hello,

I created one I-Beam with wire-beam elements and one with shell elements for buckling analysis.

Wire-Beam elements:
I want to apply lateral restraints above the shear centre of the I-Beam therefore i want to apply a rigid bar perpendicular to the wire I already have . How can I fix a bar 90 degrees on a wire so that it will translate as the wire translates and will act as it is fixed?

Beam elements:
Secondly, I have a model of I-Beam with shell elements and it gives me twice the eigenvalue expected from analytical results under uniform bending and simply supported. Is there any option to change something about the shear flexibility.?
