Hi Guys...

Need help as I am trying to analyse a rotating Flexible Titanium Shaft (preferably in ANSYS15 Workbench).
The real time loading is in 2 Planes. To understand this, imagine a cylindrical solid shaft in X-Y plane with a concentrated point load in X-Y plane at a varying distance from origin and another concentrated load in X-Z plane again at a varying distance from the origin. These loads tend to bend the shaft in 2 different planes. The ultimate objective is to evaluate the real-time stress/ allowed stress once the shaft is subject to a 4000RPM, in that bent/ pre-stressed state.

One of the problems faced being, the fixtures at both the ends (using cylindrical support with only radial fixed right now but the ends of shaft but as the ends remain horizontal ending up providing a non-realistic model). The other way could be which (still an unsolved mystery) is to pre-stress the shaft in order to observe the effects of rotation only.

Would really appreciate any idea or input.
