When do we normally use static mixers in chemical dosing?

RE: Static Mixers

The typical application for a static mixer is when you have an inline treatment such as adding a filter aid immediately prior to a filter. The reaction time for such an application is very short.

In many water treatment applications, static mixers are not necessary. The water treatment chemical will be mixed into the treatment stream once the flow stream passes through 4 elbows or turns.
