Floating Skimmer Device

Floating Skimmer Device

(OP)
Trying to model a floating skimmer device and not sure what flow to input in HydroCAD. Per the skimmer manual I will need two 6 inch skimmers w/H=0.417. The Basin volume needed to drain in 72 hours is 226,357 cuft. I have phase in depth set at 0.42 ft and Full flow set at 1.03 cfs.

RE: Floating Skimmer Device

Use the orifice equation to calculate the flow, based on the head and the skimmer geometry.

RE: Floating Skimmer Device

I'm not sure what you're asking. If you've already determined the full flow to be 1.03 CFS, just enter that value into the constant-flow outlet device.
