loss in elevation
loss in elevation
(OP)
hello people.
first of all very interested in being on this forum and have read super bright people and that encouraged me to continue studying the nfpa 13, I do not speak much English but I'll try to ask my question.
1) elevation
If I have a 5 story building total area of 5 floor is not more than 2400 ft ^ 2 as determined loss from floor to floor, if it determines the level of risk the minimum flow in the most remote sprinkler and lost by friction in the pipe but when I continue to the next floor that do not
is there a formula for elevation loss says Lx0.433 = elevation losses
where L is the elevation
2) I lost this add frictional loss having the pipe elevation
please if you have any example I would be helpful
many thanks in advance

RE: loss in elevation
For example, if you need 30psi at the 5th floor to make the sprinklers on that floor work, and your 5th floor is 50' above the base of the riser, then you will need about 52psi (+ friction loss in the vertical pipe) at the base of the riser.

RE: loss in elevation
I know how much pressure to reach nesecito each floor
caul is the pressure on the 4th floor
cal pressure is on the 3rd floor
pressure which is on the 2nd floor
pressure which is on 1st floor
example
to the fourth floor need a pressure of = L * 0.433 + lost + frictional loss of the entire circuit of 4 flat
