Structural specifications and Speclink

(OP)
Curious if anyone out there has made the transition to using BSD Speclink for structural specifications and what your experiences have been? Was it worth the effort? Do you see long-term benefits Have you experienced the touted benefits of Speclink (database that is customizable and knowledge-retaining) ?

Specifically, am curious about a transition from other master specifications, like Masterspec, which you may have developed over the years with your preferred technical content.

Thanks for your thoughts and input.
