NX 8.5 FEM Rotation

NX 8.5 FEM Rotation

(OP)
Hi,

I'd like to add a rotation load on a disk (I want to know the deformation of the disk when it's fast rotating). But I'm not able to add a rotation load to my disk. I can choose a vector or a point but not the object itself.. It's also impossible to pick the disk first and then add the load..

I'm grateful for any advice!

RE: NX 8.5 FEM Rotation

Maybe add more detail to your question, a screenshot, or an example file?

RE: NX 8.5 FEM Rotation

When I apply a centrifugal load, I get the message "Centrifugal load will be applied to the whole model, selection is complete". I then only have to specify the vector, point, and desired values. I think the Select Object (0) prompt is normal and working as intended.

OK, perfect! Thanks a lotsmile

RE: NX 8.5 FEM Rotation

Hi,

same goes for gravity load, no need to select an entity at all because all nodes will be loaded.

kind regards,
Tuw
