Error 540 - when was this implemented?

Error 540 - when was this implemented?

(OP)
I have an older hydrocad model that was built in v10, build 1. Recently I updated to the latest build, and when I ran the model, received this error on a pond with an exfiltration and culvert outlet. I don't recall getting this error before, when was this error added to the list?

RE: Error 540 - when was this implemented?

Error 540 was implemented in HydroCAD 10.0 build 7.

Error 540: Groundwater elevation must be below pervious storage

The pond's storage volume extends below the groundwater elevation, creating a negative hydraulic gradient from the bottom of the storage to the groundwater, so that exfiltration cannot be calculated based on Darcy's law.

Make sure the option to Allow Exfiltration is not selected for any storage volumes that extend below the groundwater elevation -or-
Eliminate the portion of the storage volume that falls below the groundwater -or-
Set the groundwater elevation below the lowest pervious storage volume -or-
Use a different exfiltration option that does not depend on groundwater.
