SOL 601 Non-linear analysis - How to avoid intial gaps or interferences in the model using cards

(OP)
I need to perform a contact analysis using SOL601 of a screw thread. But the Cad model is not proper and there are interferences/gaps between the surfaces. It has been meshed as per the geometry and hence, I have been getting unusual behaviour of screw threads. After viewing the result, I got that I need to project all the interferences and gaps on to the contact surface. But with the options available in SOL601, I can only remove the interferences. How to remove the initial Gaps between two contact surfaces(with a particular tolerence) and project those nodes on to the one of the contact surfaces. Please let me know.

Thanks,

Uday
