hi all.

i really need some help here.

how do we calculate the reaction forces from etabs.

i mean, we will look at the design reaction at base which we get from 'display>show table>analysis>result>reaction>design reaction'

so what bothers me is that..do we add up every reaction result from all the different load cases at every nodal?
i.e:

so the total reaction fx for node 63 is 312.4585kN?

is it?

I thought at the end of the tables it gives you summations. Either that or go

building output>story shear
