Recommendations for water hammer software?

(OP)
Any recommendation for water hammer software for closed industrial piping systems? We are looking at AFT Impulse, but want to hear any real world experience and recommendations. Thanks.

RE: Recommendations for water hammer software?

Haven't used it, but probably the best bang for the buck.

Learn from the mistakes of others. You don't have time to make them all yourself.

RE: Recommendations for water hammer software?

KYPipes has been around for decades....original developed by University of Kentucky

They have a module that will perform surge analysis, has had nuclear plant verification.

BENTLY SYSTEMS also has a program called "HAMMER".... but it is integrated into the rest of their software
