NX 9 - Empty video file after "Motion export"

NX 9 - Empty video file after "Motion export"

(OP)
Hi all,
I need help about the motion export feature, which allows me to export a video MPEG 2 compressed into my hard disk.
I've set an animation, and everything run smooth: i can simulate it, i can set my cameras position and try if everything is ok, which is, but when i do my file export, the whole thing disappears. In fact, it loads loads loads and then all i've got is a simple video file containing the background and nothing else.

All i did since the exporting were working, was changing the materials.

I would really appreciate your help

RE: NX 9 - Empty video file after "Motion export"

Can you try the "MPEG" format instead of the "MPEG2" ?

Regards,
Tomas

I already tried, and nothing has changed.

RE: NX 9 - Empty video file after "Motion export"

Try create a solid block somewhere in the middle of the mechanism. Not included in the mechanism. No material assigned.
It should be visible in the video, and if it is, indicate that it is the material setting of the remaining components which makes them invisible. If it isn't visible, it might be the camera path which is incorrect.
Can you replay the "animation" and it looks ok ?
- File - Export Motion - Mpeg - Preview Animation - Play.

Regards,
Tomas
